Why women over 50 can’t find jobs

And here is why I’m hacking my 60s – because the prevailing trends go against my worth as an older woman. And that’s utter bs. I don’t want to just accept that framing for my own life. I want to build knowledge, through my successes and failures, that will be valuable in three ways:
1. It will allow me to take advantage of the opportunities the internet gives us to build a community.
2. It will help me to learn how to be a better business person overall.
3. It will help me to build a successful side hustle, over time.


We have a lot of inequality in the United States, and much of that is generated because we create such bad jobs. Jobs that really don’t keep a family of two or three above the poverty level. So we have low unemployment for everybody, including old people, but these are really low wage jobs.
